Diane Qwan

Diane has always enjoyed dancing as she was growing up. She learned by watching movies and programs that featured dancing. It wasn’t until 1990 that she trained extensively and rigorously in formal dance classes. Her various forms brought her to study Ballet, Modern, Carribean, Middle Eastern, Semi-Classical/Traditional Indian, Near Eastern, and Tribal Fusion. She performed as principal dancer for Hala Dance Troupe from 2002-2006. She was also a selected dancer at the prestigious San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival in 2004. Presently, she is a principle dancer for NaachDuniya and
Karavansaray.

Diane’s dance journey is an uncertain one … it seems to continually evolve, and she is enjoying every minute of it.
